51. In reply to #46 "Whatever", Yes, I am aware of his skin condition, but what he did in bleaching his skin went far beyond that. I happen to be a fan of both the Jackson 5 and of Michael Jackson. I think it's a shame that he became so obsessed with his transformation that he has all but ruined his face, and, as a result, endangered his career. Whether or not the children are biologically his (which is between the mothers and him) is totally beside the point. He is raising them, and has legal custody of them; therefore they are his, just as much as an adopted child and a biological child are equal. I hope that Michael Jackson is not physically beyond restoration, and that his career would get back on track, for he is (or was) a very powerful musical talent.

he's a role model? put down the crack pipe my friend. he is not a role model. role models do not get charged with child molestation. role models do not butcher their face. role models do not keep hold their babies over balconies and put bags on their heads.

yeah MJ is the king of pop. and has the best selling album of all time (which is thriller) but he's still a freak. and he is no role model

55. People are so quick to redicule Michael Jackson. Many of us 40 somethings remember the wonder of seeing him as a child performing with the Jackson 5. Many of us can never forget the depth of emotion in his prepubesent voice that moved us beyond measure. And the teenaged Michael who along with his brothers who excited us with his dance moves. Also the masterpiece of "Off the Wall" that he created with Quincy Jones. And finally Thriller. Everyone focuses on the exterior that we see today. But what ever happened to Michael Jackson is a human tragedy. He gave us alot and deserves a bit of sympathy.
